slider Comments Off

Beta Chi Theta National Fraternity extends its deepest condolences to the victims of the flooding in Pakistan. Heavy monsoon rains have triggered flash floods in Pakistan, affecting millions of people. More than 1,300 people have been killed with several hundred still missing. The U.N. estimates that more than a million people have been affected. The displaced are huddled on high ground under any shelter they can find, and experts say that these are the worst floods in Pakistan in over 80 years.

The need is urgent for clean water, food, medical care, and emergency shelter.

Beta Chi Theta invites you to raise awareness of this tragedy and to donate to the relief cause:

  • Donate to the American Red Cross
  • Donate to World Vision
  • Donate to UNICEF
  • Text the word “SWAT” to the number, 50555, and reply “yes” when asked to confirm, in order to make a $10 donation to help the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.

Our prayers go out to all those affected by the flooding – please join us in making a gift toward the relief effort.
