Philanthropy

Beta Chi Theta strongly believes in our pillar of Service to Humanity. Our unwavering conviction to this cause and our numbers nationwide has allowed us to contribute to so many causes around the nation. Beta Chi Theta strongly believes in providing service where service is necessary, and not merely convenient.

While brothers remain active at a local level, we are still in the midst of choosing a National Philanthropy, which will be a cause all of our chapters and colonies support.

Additionally, there are many causes our chapters and colonies support at a local level, dedicating thousands of hours to community service. Some of these various causes include:

  • Alternative Spring Break
  • American Cancer Association
  • American Heart Association
  • American Heart Walk
  • Beating Heart Disease
  • Beta Chi Theta Street Clean Up
  • Boy and Girls Club
  • Children’s Miracle Network
  • Dance Marathon
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Human Service Trust Hospice in Zambia, Africa
  • Local Food Banks
  • Relay for Life
  • Sachin Shah Cares Foundation
  • Salvation Army
  • Science Smart
  • Special Olympics
  • St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
  • Student Homeless Aid Relief Project
  • Vanderbuddies
  • Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science
  • World Diabetes Foundation
  • YMCA

A dedication to Service to Humanity makes Beta Chi Theta more than a “social” fraternity – it makes it a powerful organization driven to force positive change in our local communities and the world at large.
